Silver Rainbows Bealtaine Festival Celebration @ Teach Solais

On Sunday 14th of May from 2:30pm to 5:30pm the recently opened Teach Solais LGBT+ Resource Centre at 1 Victoria Place, Merchants Road, Galway will host an event as part of the Bealtaine Festival for Silver Rainbows. People are encouraged to bring some food along and invite their family, friends and allies to enjoy the food and socialise over a cup of tea or coffee which will be provided.

This Intergenerational event is an opportunity to catch up with friends, meet new people and explore Teach Solais. Information on the wide variety of events/clubs/peer support groups & much more taken place in Teach Solais will be available. All welcome!!

AMACH! LGBT Galway Ltd are supporting Silver Rainbows in their initial aim to build a lasting peer support network for older members of our LGBT+ community. Following on from Silver Rainbows recent events in Loughrea and Gort family resource centers this Bealtaine festival celebration has been organised.

Other events for Silver Rainbows will be held in Teach Solais over the coming months. This Silver Rainbows project aims to run fun activities and social events for older LGBT+ people in Galway and the surrounding counties. Further events, social gatherings, workshops and so on will be organised in response to the needs identified by participants.
